Girls Tech Day - Uxbridge College

Uxbridge College and West London Institute of Technology were proud to welcome over 90 girls from local schools to take part in a day packed full of tech activities!

The Year 7 and 8 students from three schools across the Hillingdon borough spent the day at the College, where Uxbridge College hosted the UK's first ever Amazon Web Services (AWS) Girls’ Tech Day.

Girls’ Tech Day takes place all over the world, aiming to inspire young women to engage in activities that showcase the opportunities available to them in the world of STEM, and encourage them to think about the future careers available to them.

Throughout the day, the students engaged in fun-filled activities working with Robotics, Virtual Reality, Coding, interactive games, and much more!

Our students had an incredible time and were truly inspired and are ready to make their mark in the Tech world!
